LAHORE: Following a meeting on Monday, leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) alleged that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) had bribed ministers in an act of pre-poll rigging.
The meeting was attended by party leaders and was chaired by PTI Chairman Imran Khan. They said in the meeting that PML-N government had distributed Rs 200 billion among ministers to bribe them before 2018 general election. They alleged that this was an act of pre-poll rigging by PML-N. They did not specify when and in the guise of which projects the funds from the state treasury were used.
They urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take action against this.
They also reiterated the party’s demand for early elections.
